Born on March 25, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, Kristie was the cherished daughter of the late Betty Henry. Her early years in Los Angeles shaped a life defined by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. Kristie was a devoted educator, spending 40 remarkable years with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds left an indelible impact on countless students and colleagues. She was not only a teacher but a mentor and a beacon of inspiration to all who crossed her path. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kristie found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid reader, she often immersed herself in the worlds of literature, finding solace and adventure within the pages of her favorite books. Her love for reading was something she shared generously, encouraging others to discover the magic of stories. Kristie's legacy is carried forward by her loving son, Christopher Morris, and her two adored grandchildren, Christopher Morris Jr. and Maliyah Morris. She is also survived by her sisters, Gayle Henry and Denise Minor, who will forever treasure the memories of their sibling bond. Her family, though missing her dearly, finds comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her mother, Betty Henry, sister Deborah Minor, brother Michael Johnson, and nephew Anthony Villahermosa, who preceded her in death.
