Kirk Lambert Reisinger

April 6, 2026 — April 20, 2026

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kirk Lambert Reisinger, beloved son, friend, and steadfast companion, who was called to eternal rest on April 20, 2026, at the age of 50. Kirk was born on April 6, 2026, in Tacoma, Washington, to Donellen and Donald Reisinger, who have both predeceased him. He faced his final battle with esophageal cancer, which metastasized to his liver, bone, and lymph nodes, with the courage and grace that characterized his life. Kirk's early years were spent in Tacoma, where he graduated from Stadium High School in 1979. He furthered his education at Washington State University, earning a bachelor's degree in Communications, a field that matched his natural ability to connect with others and his passion for storytelling. In his professional journey, Kirk demonstrated versatility and dedication in every role he undertook. He began his career at Argus newspaper, where he honed his skills in journalism. He then transitioned to a successful decade-long tenure in sales at CISSI, followed by significant contributions to USG, where he spent eight years selling drywall and supplies. His career continued at Dryvet Systems, where his expertise and commitment left a lasting impact. Beyond his professional life, Kirk was deeply involved in his community and maintained a strong social circle. He was a member of the TKE fraternity during his time at university, where he served as President, fostering bonds that lasted a lifetime. In his younger years, he found spiritual grounding within the Presbyterian Church, which shaped his compassionate and thoughtful character. Kirk had a zest for life that was evident in his hobbies and interests. He was an avid golfer, finding joy and tranquility on the greens. He had a profound love for sports, with Seahawks football holding a special place in his heart. Kirk and his son cherished their time as season ticket holders, sharing countless memories and celebrating their team together. A memorial service to honor Kirk's life will be held on June 27, 2026, at Trophy Lake Golf Course, a fitting venue that reflects his passion for golf and the beauty he saw in the world around him. In this time of loss, the Reisinger family extends their heartfelt gratitude to St. Michael's Oncology and Treatment Center for their compassionate care, as well as to the dedicated Hospice team who provided support in his final days. Kirk Lambert Reisinger will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved parents and surrounded by the love he so generously shared in life.
