Born on January 5, 1949, in Montgomery, Alabama, Kimmie's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to family and community. Kimmie was the beloved daughter of the late Jimmy Walmack and Mary Sanders, who instilled in her the values of kindness, tenacity, and compassion. These traits defined her life and left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. A lifelong resident of Montgomery, Kimmie was a pillar of her community, known for her warm smile and generous spirit. Her door was always open, and her kitchen was forever bustling with heartwarming meals and heartfelt conversations. She touched the lives of many, offering support and comfort whenever it was needed. Kimmie's greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Kenya Walmack, and son-in-law, Larry Harper, whose lives she enriched with her unconditional love and wisdom. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and a host of extended family and friends who will forever treasure her memory. Those who knew Kimmie will remember her as a woman of great strength and gentle humor, a beacon of hope and love to those around her. Her laughter was infectious, her advice wise and comforting, and her love boundless. A service to celebrate Kimmie's life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM at St. Mary Church. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory and reflect on the beautiful life she led, filled with love and laughter. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Kimmie's generous and giving spirit. Though Kimmie is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May we find comfort in the memories we shared and the love she gave so freely.
