Kimberly Smith, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully departed this world at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, on August 4, 2026. Born on January 8, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kimberly was the cherished daughter of Thomas and Betty Lou “Fields” Smith She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Allen, her loving parents, her brother Jerry Smith, her son Melvin Thomas Smith, and her grandson Brandon Cecil Thomas Smith. . Kimberly is survived by her brother Larry “Debbie” Smith of Whitley City, KY; her loving daughters Lindy “Ralph” Sellers of Whitley City, KY, and Jennifer Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her legacy extends through her grandchildren: Destiny West, DeAsia Williams, Anastasia Smith, Auqoye Smith, Megan Sellers, ZaMarion Ruff, and MelAsia Smith. Her great-grandchildren, Kason West, Adelynn West, Sa’Rai Horton, Caleb West, Wrenlee West, Kylin Giglio, and Aliyah Giglio, will carry forward her spirit and memory for generations to come.
