It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Marie Duggins, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. Kimberly passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous five-year battle with Stage 4 breast cancer. She was 58 years old.
Born on December 21, 1967, in Orlando, Florida, Kimberly was the cherished daughter of Calvin and Millie Skaggs. She grew up in a nurturing environment that instilled in her a strong sense of family and compassion, traits that she carried throughout her life.
On July 12, 1996, Kimberly married the love of her life, Clifford Duggins II. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith, celebrating 30 wonderful years of marriage. Kimberly and Clifford were blessed with two remarkable daughters, Krystle Rominger, married to Adam Rominger, and Alyssa Duggins-Miller, married to Jason Miller. Kimberly was a devoted mother who always put her family first and was endlessly proud of the strong, kind-hearted women her daughters have become.
Kimberly is survived by her husband Clifford, her daughters Krystle and Alyssa, her brother Randy Skaggs, her sister Debbie Smith, sisters-in-law Julie Lende and Kimberly Perez, and her precious granddaughter, Aubrey Miller. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored her. She was predeceased by her parents, Calvin and Millie Skaggs, her mother-in-law, Charlotte Duggins, and her brother-in-law, Carl Duggins.
Kimberly's career was marked by dedication and excellence. She worked for over 20 years at Jack in the Box, transitioned to Walgreens, and ultimately found her calling as a Global Compliance Coordinator with Calstar/Reach/GMR. Her colleagues remember her as a diligent, compassionate, and highly respected professional.
Kim was an active member of Gray Avenue Christian Church for over two decades. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she was known for her kindness and gentle, loving demeanor. Kimberly was the first to offer help to anyone in need, always looking out for those around her and continued to serve in her church during her cancer battle.
In her leisure time, Kimberly enjoyed spending time with her family, watching disaster movies and medical dramas, and indulging in the simple joys of life. Her warmth and empathy touched everyone who had the privilege to know her, and she will be profoundly missed by all.
A service to celebrate Kimberly's life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Gray Avenue Christian Church, located at 1524 Gray Avenue, Yuba City, CA 95993. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Kimberly's honor.
