Kimberly Marie Alden

April 23, 1970 — October 2, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Kimberly Marie Alden, who left us on October 2, 2026. Born on April 23, 1970, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kim's life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and unwavering love. Kimberly was the cherished daughter of Marge Wade and the late Carrell Alden. She was predeceased by her father, Carrell Alden, her maternal grandparents Lawrence and Winifred Pierce, her paternal grandparents Charles and Blanche Alden, and her beloved Uncle Charles Alden. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her life partner and best friend, Anthony Feltz, her devoted sons Ashton Feltz and his wife Fatima, and Houston Feltz, along with her adored grandchildren, Amadeus and Sebastian Feltz. Her mother, Margaret Wade, survives her, as does her sister Deborah VanAndel and her husband John, her uncles Robert and Larry Pierce, and her cousins Bryan, Adam Pierce, and Kathy Alden. She was also the beloved godmother to Hannah Lee. Kimberly's education began at Lebanon Union High School, where she laid the foundation for a life of commitment and leadership. For over two decades, she was a dedicated leader at Starbucks, where she was not only respected for her professional achievements but deeply loved for her compassion and care for her team. Kim was always there to support her colleagues, prioritizing their well-being and nurturing a sense of family within her workplace. Beyond her professional life, Kimberly was a woman of many passions. She had a fervent love for football, especially the LSU Tigers, a connection that held sentimental value as her father once played for them. Kim enjoyed trying new restaurants. She and Anthony would travel many miles to check them out. Her love extended to the animal kingdom, as evidenced by the five cats and two dogs she cared for, including her cherished fur babies, Stella and Burt Reynolds. Kim's strength was evident in how she faced life's challenges head-on. She loved deeply and was fiercely loyal, holding her family and friends close to her heart. Keeping her family's traditions and connections alive was of utmost importance to her, and she took immense pride in her heritage — from her Southern roots to her grandfather's Yankee ingenuity at NASA. A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held on October 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Pop's Branding Iron, located at 901 Pacific Blvd SE, Albany. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor a life well-lived and a spirit that will forever remain in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kimberly's memory may be made to the Safehaven Humane Society in Tangent, Oregon, a cause close to her heart, where her love for animals can continue to make a difference. Kimberly Marie Alden's legacy of love, strength, and compassion will remain an inspiration to all who knew her. We are grateful for the time we shared with her and will carry her memory in our hearts forever.
