Kimberly Katrina
September 24, 1982 — April 17, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly Katrina, a wife, mother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on April 17, 2026. Born on September 24, 1982, in Bronx, NY, Kimberly was a beacon of light and love throughout her life, touching countless hearts with her warmth and kindness.
Kimberly was the cherished daughter of the late Jacqueline and Gary Darville, who instilled in her the values of compassion and strength. She graduated from Our Savior Lutheran School, where her academic achievements were surpassed only by her innate ability to bring joy to those around her.
On August 20, 2005, in the heart of Bronx, NY she married Kenton Martin. Their union was a testament to love, and together they built a family. September 21, 2018 she welcomed daughter Kenzie into the world, her greatest love. Kimberly leaves behind her adoring husband Kenton, precious daughter Kenzie, her caring mother-in-law Sandra, devoted sister Lacresha, two brothers Timothy and Darrell, brother-in-law Clarence "Mike," a circle of steadfast friends who were more like family, including her besties Nicole, Tiana, and Jetaun and her family in the Bahamas.
Kimberly's career was marked by dedication and service. She made lasting contributions at Burlington, Verizon, and the Social Security Administration. Her colleagues and clients alike admired her for her professionalism and her ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Her warm smile and strong personality were her trademarks, and she was always ready to step into any festive adventure with enthusiasm.
A woman of many talents, Kimberly had an insatiable love for travel, and she was often found exploring new places, leaving a piece of her heart wherever she journeyed. Her passion for arts and crafts was equally infectious, and she found joy in creating beauty and sharing it with those she loved.
Kimberly's kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She was a woman who enriched the lives of everyone she met, whether through a simple gesture or a grand adventure. Her gift for making people feel special was unparalleled, and her legacy will forever be felt in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
In her passing, Kimberly is reunited with her beloved parents, Jacqueline and Gary, who surely welcomed her with open arms. Though she is gone from our sight, her spirit remains with us, a guiding light of love and grace.
Kimberly, you will forever be missed and cherished, but your legacy of love, kindness, and adventure will live on in all who were blessed to know you. We love you!
