May 23, 1959 — October 4, 2026

Kimberly Faith Jones-Alexander, a mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026. Born on May 23, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, Kimberly lived a full life on her own terms. Kimberly was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Jackson and Alfred Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her cherished family members Melvin Gaither, Deborah Gaither, Kevin Jackson, Germaine Jackson, and Devery Jackson. Their memories lived on in her heart and were a source of strength and inspiration throughout her life. Educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools, Kimberly was known for her intelligence. She was an avid reader. The National Enquirer was her favorite. Kimberly had a love for music and enjoyed singing; often dreaming of pursuing a music career. Her favorite song to sing was God Bless the Child. Kimberly didn't cook much but when she wanted to flex her culinary skills she would make PASTA. Her favorite dish. Kimberly leaves behind her 6 children, Jonathan Jones, Meredith Jones, Richard Hall, Joshua Burrell, Joy Jones, and Jaiquan Norfleet. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Kimberly Faith Jones-Alexander’s life reminds us that God’s faithfulness endures, even when we stray from His will. May her children find healing for the wounds they carry, peace amid unanswered questions, and freedom to move forward with love and hope.”

Acceptance

We share some looks, we share a name, but our stories of Mom are not quite the same. Each knew a part the others may not know, and carries things that words may never show. Some have moments they can still hold dear. Some remember longing, hurt, and fear. No single story speaks for us all; Each truth deserves a place, no matter how small. We need not paint the past in softer light. Or call what hurt us something that was right. We each may grieve in ways we cannot share and still make room for one another there. May peace find each of us in our own time, without a need to leave our truth behind. And may the love we needed help us see the kind of love we now can choose to be.

Special Thanks

Our family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered Kimberly compassion, support, and encouragement through life’s challenges. We are especially grateful to those who stepped forward to nurture and guide her children, providing love, stability, and a place to belong.
