Born on January 5, 1971, in Hammond, Louisiana, Kim was a beacon of kindness and strength, whose presence touched the lives of all who knew her. Kim was the cherished daughter of Larry James and Bessie West, who instilled in her the values of compassion and resilience that she carried throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Rene West, Sonja West, and Julie West, who she now joins in eternal rest. A devoted sister, Kim is survived by her sisters Janice West and Pat Edwards, who shared countless memories and moments of joy with her. Her legacy of love extends to her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and inspired with her warmth and wisdom. Kim's life was a testament to her strength and generosity. Her unwavering spirit and gentle nature endeared her to everyone she met, making her absence deeply felt in the hearts of her family and friends.
