Kiesha was born on September 8, 1971, in McComb, Mississippi, a place that she always called home. Kiesha was the cherished daughter of Jonas Dulaney Weir and the late Sharon E. McKnight. Her mother's spirit and kindness were mirrored in Kiesha's own nature, and their bond remained unbreakable even after Sharon's passing. Kiesha is survived by her two daughters, Melissa Deon Dawson and Ashley Renee Dawson, one son Philip Dawson, one brother Anthony M. Cameron two sisters, Rochelle Davis and Joneeke Cameron who all held her close in their hearts. She was also the proud grandmother of four adoring grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life. A dedicated and compassionate nurse, Kiesha graduated from Alcorn State University in 1995. Her career spanned over two decades at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her care and dedication. Even as her illness progressed, her commitment to her profession and her patients remained unwavering. Her colleagues and patients alike remember her as a beacon of hope and comfort. Kiesha's life will be celebrated on October 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Crafts-Dillion Funeral Home, located at 210 Martin Luther King Drive, McComb, Mississippi. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the remarkable life Kiesha led, and the love she shared with all who were fortunate to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, continuing Kiesha's legacy of kindness and compassion.
