Kierra Mcgee

Kierra McGee, born on January 29, 1991, in Kansas City, MO, passed away on August 2, 2026. She was a devoted mother to her beloved children, who were the light of her life. Kierra is survived by her parents, Phillippe Sr. and Carletta Johnson, and her siblings, Phillippe Jr., Solomon, and Kendra. Kierra’s career as a youth mentor and community activist spanned 14 impactful years. Her dedication to uplifting the youth of her community was evident through her tireless work and the countless lives she touched. A proud member of Canaan Worship Center for 15 years, Kierra’s faith and spirit were central to her life. Known for her quick wit and warm smile, Kierra had a gift for brightening any room. Her love for fashion, art, travel, and cooking reflected her vibrant personality. She never missed Fashion Week in New York, always inspired by the creativity she found there. Kierra will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and ability to make everyone feel valued. She remains forever in our hearts as “The Key to the City.”
