Kiaberia Nicole “Keke” Young
February 2, 1995 — April 28, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Kiaberia Nicole “Keke” Young, who left us far too soon on April 28, 2026, at the age of 31. Born on February 2, 1995, in Albany, Georgia, Kiaberia was a beacon of light and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the cherished daughter of Towana Moore and William Young, and the cherished memory of her late sibling, Keyontae Moore.
Kiaberia, affectionately known as "Keke," was the embodiment of joy and warmth. Her presence was magnetic, and her infectious laughter and radiant smile could light up any room. Known as "The Life of the Party," Kiaberia had a unique gift for making everyone around her feel seen, loved, and appreciated. To know Kiaberia was, indeed, to love her.
A proud graduate of Monroe High School, Kiaberia was dedicated and hardworking, whether she was tackling a new job or pursuing personal goals. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she was a devoted mother to Ma’Kiyah Banks, Ma’Kayla Banks, Kameron Banks, Quantavion Walker, and Messiah Walker. Her siblings, Shakila Moore, Zackeria (Joseph) White, Summer Lockett, Jamerian Lockett, and Kingston Young, will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Kiaberia's joyful spirit was a source of comfort and cheer to many, and her absence leaves an irreplaceable void. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear family friend Greg Lopez, who all mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul.
A celebration of Kiaberia's life will be held on May 9, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at New Direction. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory and celebrating the extraordinary life she led.
The family of Kiaberia Young extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy during this difficult time. Your phone calls, visits, flowers, thoughts, and prayers have brought great comfort to our hearts. May GOD continue to bless each of you abundantly.
Though Kiaberia's physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit and the beautiful memories she created will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, dear Keke. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our lives.
