In Loving Memory

Kevin W Harris
January 21, 1970 — June 2, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin W. Harris, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Kevin departed this world on June 2, 2026, at the age of 56, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 21, 1970, in the heart of Fresno California. Kevin's life was a tapestry of love, resilience, and devotion.
Kevin was the cherished son of Joan Lumpkin and the late Larry Harris. Preceded in death by his father Larry, his paternal and maternal grandparents, and mother in law Shirley, his legacy is carried forward by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Bronwyn, who was his anchor and his greatest love. Their journey together, which began on May 12, 2000, after a decade of shared dreams and adventures, was a testament to enduring love, commitment and the marriage vows they honored.
Together, Kevin and Bronwyn were blessed with three wonderful children: Sons Chasten and Trae, and Daughter Bailey who were his pride and joy, his world and reason for living. He also found joy in welcoming his daughter-in-law, Haylee, into the family fold. Kevin was a proud and doting grandfather to six grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and laughter into his life. He leaves behind his loving mother, Joan, his sisters, Trudy and Gidget, his nephew Bryce, niece Tessa, sister in law Taryn, Brother in law Broc and his father in law Barry who he loved deeply.
Kevin's warmth and kindness were as boundless as his talents. Known for his welcoming spirit and infectious smile, he touched the lives of everyone he encountered. A man of many skills, Kevin was a talented musician who loved playing the guitar and harmonica, and he had a voice that could light up a room. His passion for music was matched only by his love for sports, especially his devotion to the San Francisco 49ers and the thrill of NASCAR racing. But most of all he loved his cats and dogs immensely with all of his heart.
But perhaps Kevin's most remarkable gift was his unwavering faith and his ability to inspire others with his deep love for the Lord. When Kevin spoke of his faith and the grace he found in Jesus, he captivated and comforted those around him. His spirit was one of generosity and openness, always ready to lend a hand, whether in painting, building, repairing, or remodeling. There was nothing he couldn't do or, at the very least, attempt with enthusiasm and determination.
As we say goodbye to Kevin, we find solace in the many beautiful memories he leaves behind and the lessons of love, perseverance, and faith he imparted to us all. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Serenity-Affordable Direct, Bristol Hospice and all the friends and family who have expressed their condolences and financial support during the most challenging times.
Kevin's life was a testament to love, service, and joy. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, enveloped in the same warmth and kindness he shared with the world.
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
