Kevin Quinn Morley

March 3, 1978 — September 24, 2026

Kevin Quinn Morley, 48, passed away on September 24, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on March 3, 1978, in Salt Lake City, Kevin spent his life rooted in the place where he was born. He will be remembered by those who knew him as a unique personality with a very good heart. His life included many struggles over the last 20 years, including a long battle with mental illness, and that truth was part of his story. So too were his generosity, his love for his family, and the care he showed to those he counted as his friends. Kevin would bring people to the house for a meal if they were hungry, and he would share whatever he could spare with anyone who needed it. Kevin loved his son, Aidan Morley, with all his heart. He also loved his family members, including his parents, siblings, many cousins, his aunts and uncles, and his nieces and nephews. He had a great love for any child, and will be remembered for his greetings to them, “Hey, little lady”, or “Hey, little buddy.” He is survived by his son, Aidan Morley; his older sister, Judy Morley; his older brothers Mitchell Morley (Eileen) and Richard Morley (Tammy, and her family); his nephews, Tyson Morley, McKay Morley (Sierra), and Mitchell Morley, Jr. (Tammi); his niece, Esther Morley; and his great-nieces Kaitlynn Wells-Morley, Harper Rose Morley, and Zoey Sorensen; as well as aunts, uncles, and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Russell and Darlene Morley; his paternal grandparents, McKay and Beatrice Morley; his maternal grandparents, Henry and Ruth Burton; his uncle, Bob Morley; his aunt, Beryl Morley; and his uncle and aunt Darrell and Kaye Burton. Kevin enjoyed basketball, football, and most all sports in general. He loved being outdoors; hunting, fishing, and walking in the mountains, and he found great pleasure in collecting rocks and other small treasures. He also loved animals, especially all of the dogs he had as he grew up. These simple interests were part of what made him himself and reflected the way he noticed and valued the world around him. Kevin’s life held both hardship and love, and those who knew and loved him carry the memory of both. He will be remembered for his deep love for Aidan, for his love of family, for his generosity, and for the distinct spirit he brought to life. May only good memories remain with all who knew and loved him.
