Kevin Bruce Gubernath, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of his daughters. Born on February 11, 1961, in Galion, Ohio, Kevin lived a life marked by kindness, humor, and a deep affection for his family and passions. Kevin was the beloved son of the late Donna Gubernath, and he carried her love and teachings throughout his life. He was predeceased by his brother, Mark, and his niece, Heather, whose memories he cherished dearly. Kevin is survived by his two devoted daughters, Jessica of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Tina, alongside her husband, Andrew, of Cardington, Ohio. He also leaves behind his two sons, Gregory, with his wife Heather, of Electra, Texas, and Ricky, with his wife Madison, of Richmond, Indiana. Kevin's legacy continues through his eight treasured grandsons: Zeppelin, Aiden, Logan, Landen, Zaden, Conrad, Bentley, and Monroe, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. Kevin was also a supportive and loving brother to Brenda and her husband, Sonny, of Galion, Ohio. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he took great pride in watching it grow and flourish. In 1979, Kevin graduated from Wichita Falls High School, embarking on a life filled with adventure and love. He was known for his compassionate nature, always ready to lend a hand or give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Yet, he was equally remembered for his sharp wit and humor, often bringing laughter to those around him with his teasing and playful demeanor. Kevin was an avid hunter, a passion that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace in the outdoors. He also held a special place in his heart for his dogs, Kyler and Dasie, who were his constant companions and brought him much joy. Kevin's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit will continue to live on through the countless memories he created and the lives he touched.
