Kevin Lee Gandy

September 12, 1992 — April 19, 2026

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Lee Gandy, who departed this world too soon on April 19, 2026, at the age of 33. Born on September 12, 1992, in the serene landscape of Fairbanks, Alaska, Kevin lived a life marked by the beauty of nature, the warmth of laughter, and the healing touch of compassion. Kevin's journey, although tragically brief, was filled with love, adventure, and a deep connection to the people and the world around him. A devoted son to Max Gandy and Janice Goodwin, Kevin was cherished by his family, including his stepmother Christine Gandy. He shared a special bond with his siblings, Nicole Seils, Jessica Dunstan, David Gandy, Richard Gandy, and Brad Gandy. His legacy of love and laughter will be carried on by his nieces and nephews Alex, Tyler, Katelyn, Nathan, and Emma Seils, along with Alaska, Bennett, Kayla, and Bridger Dunstan. Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Garland and Cole Goodwin, Janice Buchman, Gunther Buchman, and Gene Gandy Senior. Their memories were a guiding light in his life, and now he joins them in eternal rest. A healer at heart, Kevin used his gifts in Deeksha, Reiki, and Theta Healing to touch the lives of many, offering comfort and solace to those he knew and even those he hadn't met. His ability to turn a dark day into one filled with light and laughter was a testament to his quick wit and infectious smile. He had a remarkable talent for brightening any room, and his humor was a cherished balm for many. Kevin's spirit was adventurous and free, finding joy in the great outdoors. He loved ATV riding, camping, and fishing, often setting sail on tranquil waters or embarking on trips to the stunning Lake Powell. Hiking through nature's beauty and listening to music while driving were moments of pure happiness for him, allowing the world to be his canvas of peace and reflection. Though Kevin's life was challenged by addiction, a battle he ultimately succumbed to, it does not define the vibrant and compassionate soul we remember. His strength and resilience in facing these challenges were admirable, and his journey serves as a poignant reminder of the complexities of life and the courage it takes to navigate them. Kevin's impact on those around him was profound. He taught us the importance of laughter, the power of healing, and the value of living life with an open heart. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories of his laughter, his healing touch, and the adventurous spirit that guided his life. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held to honor the beautiful soul he was and the joy he brought to our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to organizations supporting addiction recovery, in hopes of bringing light to others fighting similar battles. Kevin Lee Gandy, your presence will be deeply missed, but your spirit will forever remain a beacon of love and laughter in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Kevin, knowing you were truly loved.
