It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Bresch, a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend. Kevin was born on November 8, 1988, in Charleston, South Carolina, and departed this life peacefully on April 14, 2026, at the age of 37, after a courageous battle with pneumonia and terminal cancer. Kevin's journey through life was a testament to the enduring strength of the human spirit. From the very beginning, he had an innate ability to bring joy to those around him. Known for his ever-present smile, Kevin's warmth and kindness were infectious, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was the cherished son of Steve and Donja Bresch, who provided him with unwavering love and support throughout his life. Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Marilynn Bresch; his maternal grandfather, Francis Berger; his Uncle Jeffery Bresch; and his cousins, Brandon and Rodney Bresch. Their spirits now welcome him into eternal peace. Kevin is survived by his devoted brother, Taylor Bresch, and Taylor's fiance, Macey Clark, along with their son, Kevin's beloved nephew, Jaxyn Bresch. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Jutta Berger, whose wisdom and love were guiding lights in his life. Kevin's family extended far and wide, including his Aunt Heidi Farrand (Bob), Uncle Kurt Berger (Beverly), and numerous uncles and aunts, including Robert Bresch (Diane), David Bresch (Ann), Ricky Bresch (Sharon), and Donald Bresch (Jennifer), along with a multitude of cousins who shared in the joy of his presence. Kevin was a soul who found happiness in the simplest of pleasures. He possessed a remarkable passion for M&Ms, French fries, and Cheez-Its, which brought him immense delight. His love for the outdoors and spending time with his family was truly unparalleled. Kevin's laughter and joy were most vibrant under the open sky, where he could bask in the love of those he held dear. In a special message from his family, they express, “Kevin was a profoundly special soul whose life was filled with simple, beautiful expressions of love. His constant smile, warm hugs, and sweet kisses spoke louder than words ever could. He reminded us daily of the power of unconditional love and the beauty of a pure heart. He will forever remain our angel.” Kevin's life was a beautiful reminder of the power of love and the purity of a heart that knew no bounds. He taught us all about the importance of kindness, joy, and the simple pleasures that make life truly meaningful. Though he may have left this earthly realm, Kevin's spirit and legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. As we say goodbye to our dear Kevin, we find solace in the memories that will forever hold him close. May his gentle soul rest in peace, and may we all continue to be inspired by the love and light he brought into our lives.
