Kerri Hayes

May 19, 1971 — September 11, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt respect that we announce the passing of Kerri Hayes, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. Born on May 19, 1971, Kerri gracefully left this world on September 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a swift battle with cancer. Her life was a tapestry of love, joy, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Kerri was a woman of strength and kindness, cherished by all who knew her. She was the precious daughter of Lili LaRue and the late Dan Gullett, and the cherished stepdaughter of the late Roger LaRue. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being. On August 26th, 1990, Kerri married the love of her life, Claude Hayes, in a beautiful ceremony in Alger, WA. Together, they shared 36 years of marriage, raising their two children, Andy Hayes and Raynee Gaspard (Robert), in a home filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Her grandchildren, Conner, Caleb, Snyder, and Nora, were a constant source of joy and pride for Kerri, and she cherished every moment spent with them. A proud graduate of Burlington Edison High School, Class of 1989, Kerri's dedication extended beyond her family to her professional life. She was a valued employee at E&E Lumber in Sedro-Woolley, where she worked for 25 years. Her colleagues and customers alike appreciated her expertise, dedication, and cheerful spirit. Kerri’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and a commitment to those she held dear. Her memory will forever be cherished by her devoted husband Claude, her loving mother Lili, her children Andy and Raynee, her beloved grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kerri's memory to a cancer research organization of your choice or a local hospice care center. This gesture would honor her courageous battle and her enduring spirit of generosity. Kerri Hayes will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as she leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
