Kenseth Maust

June 16, 2008 — May 16, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Kenseth Maust, who unexpectedly left us on May 16, 2026, just a month shy of his 18th birthday. Born on June 16, 2008, in Morgantown, WV, Kenseth's vibrant spirit and joyful presence touched the lives of everyone he met. Kenseth was the cherished son of Eddie and Lori Maust, who nurtured his compassion and encouraged his boundless curiosity. From a young age, Kenseth's life was filled with the laughter and love shared with family and friends. Though he was taken too soon, Kenseth's kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him. A bright and ambitious young man, Kenseth was eagerly anticipating his high school graduation on May 28, 2026. His dreams extended beyond the classroom as he had set his sights on a future serving his country by pursuing a career with the FBI. Kenseth's determination and passion for justice inspired those around him, and his potential was truly limitless. Kenseth's zest for life was evident in his enthusiastic pursuit of hobbies and interests. He cherished the adventures he shared with his cousin and uncle as they rode their e-bikes and dirt bikes, creating memories filled with laughter and joy. His friendship with Kolton was a testament to the bonds he formed, as they spent countless hours immersed in the world of Pokémon cards, hunting for rare treasures and celebrating their finds. Despite the brevity of his life, Kenseth's heart was as vast as the dreams he harbored. His kindness was matched only by his generosity, traits that were evident to all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. Kenseth had a remarkable ability to light up a room, to offer a comforting word, and to extend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Kenseth is predeceased by his beloved grandfather, Gerald Ringer, and his uncle, Doug Ringer, who both played significant roles in shaping the person he became. Their memories will continue to be cherished by all who knew and loved them. While Kenseth's time with us was all too brief, his legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his parents, Eddie and Lori Maust, his extended family, and his many friends. In celebrating Kenseth's life, we honor the light he brought into our world and the love he shared so freely. His spirit will continue to inspire us to live with kindness, pursue our dreams, and cherish the bonds we hold dear. A memorial service will be held to commemorate Kenseth's life and to share stories that reflect the joy he brought to our lives. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Kenseth's name to a charity close to his heart, reflecting his love for adventure and learning. Rest in peace, dear Kenseth. Your journey may have been cut short, but your spirit will shine brightly in our hearts forever.
