It is with heavy hearts and profound appreciation for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Kenneth Ray Fifer, who departed this world on June 17, 2026, at the age of 83. Kenneth passed peacefully with his loving family by his side, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. Kenneth was born on July 16, 1942, to Raymond and Jean Fifer, who predeceased him. He grew up with a spirit of adventure and a love for the open road that would come to define much of his life. On March 27, 1960, Kenneth married the love of his life, Cheryl Elaine Harman. Together, they created a beautiful life built on mutual respect and unwavering support. Cheryl preceded him in death, yet her love continued to guide him through the years. Kenneth was a devoted father to his children, among whom he is survived by daughters Penny (Ronnie) Adams, Kelly (Ted) Hart, Cathy Hoover, and Cindy Price. He was predeceased by his son, Richard Fifer, and son-in-law, Mitch Price. His family was his pride and joy, and he took immense pleasure in the lives of his nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Kenneth's enduring legacy is carried on by his sisters, Linda Smith and Sue Barr, who survive him, while he joins his sister Carol in eternal rest. For many years, Kenneth worked diligently as an over-the-road truck driver, a career that allowed him to explore the country he loved so dearly. His passion for riding motorcycles was not just a hobby but a way of life. He was a former member of the Goldwing Road Rider Association (GWRRA), where he found camaraderie and joy in the shared love of the open road. Kenneth's hands were seldom idle, as he delighted in tinkering and finding new purpose in the old and discarded. Kenneth's heart was as expansive as the highways he traveled, and his compassion extended to all creatures great and small. To honor his love for animals, the family kindly requests donations be made in his memory to the Animal Welfare League, ensuring his legacy of kindness continues to touch lives. Though Kenneth's journey on Earth has reached its end, the trails he blazed and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life of adventure, love, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. May he rest in peace, reunited with those who have gone before him, and may his spirit ride free in the heavens above.
