Kenneth Randall Lloyd
March 14, 1950 — March 20, 2026
Kenneth Randall Lloyd, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on March 14, 1950, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Kenneth was a man whose life was as vibrant and full as the city he called home.
Kenneth was the beloved son of the late Edgar Darrell Lloyd and Ellen Christine (Cloniger) Lloyd, whose love and values he carried throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, but their spirits remained a guiding light in his journey.
Kenneth's life was defined by his deep love for his family. He shared 42 beautiful years of marriage with his cherished wife, Anna, who stood by his side through every adventure. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with warmth and laughter for their daughters, JoAnna and Elizabeth. Kenneth's pride in his family was limitless, and he found immense joy in watching his granddaughters, Anna Rose and Jordan Waddell, and grandson, Randall Luckman, grow and thrive.
Kenneth was a proud veteran, having served his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. His service was a testament to his dedication and strength, qualities that he carried into every facet of his life.
An entrepreneur at heart, Kenneth owned several small businesses in the surrounding area, where he was known for his integrity and commitment to his community. His work was not just a career, but a reflection of his belief in hard work and perseverance.
Away from the demands of business, Kenneth found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for dirt track racing and working on cars, often spending countless hours in the garage perfecting his craft. Family barbecues and gatherings around the firepit were cherished traditions, where Kenneth relished being the only man in the house amidst the laughter and stories shared.
Kenneth was a man of simple tastes, favoring the comfort of a good home-cooked meal over any restaurant, although he did enjoy dining out with his loved ones. His sweet tooth was legendary, a trait he lovingly passed on to his grandchildren, creating sweet memories that will last a lifetime.
Kenneth is also survived by his sister, Karen Phillips of Sharon, SC, whose bond with him was a testament to the enduring power of family.
A service to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held on March 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, located at 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and honor the life of a man whose legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kenneth's name to a charity of choice, reflecting his generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others.
Kenneth Randall Lloyd will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his love for life. Though he may have left this world, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
