With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Lee Parker, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Born on December 13, 1956, in the quaint town of Fargo, Georgia, Kenneth peacefully left this world on July 31, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of his home. Kenneth was predeceased by his devoted wife, Dorothy Jean Parker, whose memory he cherished deeply. Together, they created a family filled with love and laughter. Kenneth's legacy continues through his children: Kenneth L. Parker Jr., Omar Shaw and his wife Kia Shaw, Caprice Parker and her partner Jamie Williams, and Kendrick Parker. His grandchildren—Delajia Parker, Devarius Marzette, Nevaeh Parker, Kenya Parker, Ja’Cari Parker, and many others—were the lights of his life, bringing him immense joy and pride. Kenneth was a man of unwavering dedication and strength, known for his tireless work ethic and genuine kindness. He found joy in life's simplest pleasures, from taking long walks to spending cherished moments with his family. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will remember his resilience and the countless memories he created with them. He also leaves behind a host of beloved siblings, extended family members, and friends who will continue to hold his memory close to their hearts. In a private ceremony, Kenneth will be laid to rest, honoring his wishes for an intimate farewell. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at a memorial service on August 7, 2026, at Ross-Clayton Funeral Home in Montgomery, Alabama. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, they kindly ask that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in Kenneth's honor. Though Kenneth’s earthly journey has ended, his spirit and the love he shared will remain eternally. As the family beautifully expressed, "A life well lived leaves behind memories that will live forever." His legacy will continue through his children, grandchildren, and all who were touched by his presence.
