Kenneth L. Bolton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth L. Bolton, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world peacefully on July 21, 2026, at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida. Born on December 14, 1942, in Trenton, New Jersey, Kenneth lived a life full of love, dedication, and adventure. Kenneth was the beloved son of the late Wesley and Gertrude Bolton and was predeceased by his parents and brother, Wesley. He is survived by his cherished wife of 30 years, Linda, whom he married on September 24, 1993. Together, they built a life filled with happiness and shared passions. A proud alumnus of Hamilton High West, Kenneth graduated in 1961 and went on to serve with distinction as a Corrections Officer, achieving the rank of Lieutenant after 25 years of dedicated service with the Mercer County Corrections in New Jersey. He retired in 1994, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and integrity. Kenneth was a man of many interests, with a love for golfing, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. His life was marked by his adventures and accomplishments, including the pride he took in his two sons and the remarkable achievement of owning three homes simultaneously. He leaves behind his sons, Kenneth Bolton and his wife Michelle, and Christian Bolton and his wife Shelly, along with his stepsons, Larry Janowski and his wife Deborah, and Michael Janowski. Kenneth was a devoted grandfather, deeply loved by his grandchildren—Garrett, Trevor, Lawrence III, William, and Michael J. Janowski—and he treasured his time with several great-grandchildren. Kenneth also leaves behind his nieces, Cynthia Lammerding and Kathleen Cheesman, and his nephew, Wesley Bolton. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of one's choice, reflecting Kenneth’s generous spirit and his commitment to helping others. A service to honor and celebrate Kenneth's life will be held in New Jersey, with details to be announced at a later date. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Kenneth L. Bolton will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his courage, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
