In Loving Memory of Kenneth J. Chriswell October 13, 2000 – July 2, 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth J. Chriswell, who left this world on July 2, 2026, at the age of 25. Born in Detroit, Michigan on October 13, 2000, Kenneth was a beacon of light and warmth to all who knew him. Kenneth was the beloved son of Kevin and Kimberly Chriswell, and the cherished brother to Arturo Bailey, Kevin (Carla) Whitfield, Tanita Chriswell, Kanetra Chriswell, Shirley Moreno, Anaka Moreno, Ka'Tiah Chriswell, and Kymmie Chriswell. He was a treasured nephew to aunts Surbreeka Brown, Gloria Simon, Michelle Chriswell, Yevette Chriswell, Ilene Bishaw (Keith), and uncles Kenneth Chriswell, Juan Bishaw, Kent Bishaw, and Stevon Bishaw, Michael Martin (Sharon). Kenneth joins his predeceased grandparents Kenneth Robinson, Shirley & Kenneth Bishaw, and Gloria & Arthur Knight in eternal peace. His aunts Taryn and Sherri Chriwell as well as his uncle Derrick Davis. He leaves behind his nephews Adonis and Anthony. As well as his nieces Brianna, Lily, Kassidy, Avaya, Serenity and Lyric. A host of cousins and friends that will miss him deeply. Kenneth's academic journey was marked by dedication and accomplishment. He graduated from Advance Technology Academy in 2018 and went on to earn a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Mechatronics from Henry Ford Community College in 2020. His passion for his field led him to a fulfilling career as a maintenance technician at Home Depot, where his skills and work ethic were deeply valued. A devoted member of the Greater Michigan Church of God By Faith, Kenneth's faith was a guiding force in his life. He embraced the beauty of the world around him, finding joy and tranquility in nature. Kenneth was an anime enthusiast, and he cherished time spent working out and enjoying the company of his friends. Those who knew Kenneth will forever remember his bright smile and genuine heart. His ability to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated was a testament to his character. Kenneth's kindness and love left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. A service to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held on July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the James H. Cole Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor his memory and the remarkable life he lived. Kenneth J. Chriswell will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in our hearts, a shining example of love, kindness, and the joy of life.
