Born on February 16, 1956, in Fort Valley, Georgia, Kenneth's journey through life was marked by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and country.
Kenneth was a devoted father to his children, Kenya Hardison of Atlanta, GA, Kevin Hardison of Harleton, GA, and Kellie Snelling (and her husband Michael) of LaGrange, GA. He was a cherished brother to Belinda Towles (Tim) of Fort Valley, GA, and Christina Mathis Nicole Bonds (Jeff) of Atlanta, GA. His family extended to include many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
Kenneth was predeceased by his beloved mother, Maisie Mathis, his father, John Jordan, and his brother, Darrell Mathis. He leaves behind a legacy of courage and love that will be carried on by his surviving family members and close friends, including his best friends Joshua Emanuel Hillman and Clarence J. Byrd, III.
Kenneth proudly served his country as a member of the US Army, demonstrating his commitment to service and duty. His sense of responsibility and dedication was evident in every facet of his life, as he tirelessly worked to provide for his family and support those he loved.
A man of profound faith, Kenneth will be remembered for his compassionate spirit and his ability to bring people together. He was a guiding light to his three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will forever cherish the memories and lessons imparted by their beloved grandfather.

A service to celebrate Kenneth's remarkable life will be held at 11:00 AM on March 27, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall located at 1301 Julianne St, Perry, GA 31069. Friends and family are invited to gather in honor of a man whose life was a testament to love, strength, and resilience.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Kenneth's memory, as a tribute to his generous spirit and enduring legacy.
