Kenneth C. Richmond

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth C. Richmond on September 12, 2026, at his home in Boston MA. Born on July 31, 1965, in Harlem, NY, Kenny was a beacon of light to everyone who knew him. He was predeceased by his loving parents, James C. and Barbara E. Richmond, whose guidance and love shaped him into the man he was. Kenny is survived by his devoted brothers, James T. Richmond and his wife Pauline of Boston & Provincetown, MA, Kareem Ali with his wife Marchet of Somerset, NJ. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins and his cherished friends Mia and Damik Scafe, who brought joy into his life. Kenny was known for his infectious wit and his big, welcoming smile that could light up any room. He had a passion for watching movies and savoring good food, simple pleasures that brought him immense joy and comfort. His presence was like a warm embrace, and he had a unique ability to make everyone around him feel special and loved. Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Memorial Service to celebrate Kenneth’s life on October 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Row 25 Lot No. 14, located at 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA 02131. As we gather to remember Kenny, we are reminded of the love and laughter he brought into our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in Kenneth's memory to the American Heart Association. The family would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to all who cared for Kenneth over the many years, offering support and kindness that will never be forgotten. Kenny’s legacy of warmth and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
