It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenesha Marshall, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who departed this life peacefully at her home on July 14, 2026. Born on January 7, 1999, in Brooklyn, Kenesha was a beacon of light and love, touching the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Kenesha was the cherished daughter of Kenneth Gray and Jennifer Marshall, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Shameka Ross, whose bond with Kenesha was one of deep love and understanding. Her best friend, Destani Peele, mourns the loss of a sister in spirit, whose friendship was a source of joy and encouragement. A proud graduate of Riverside High School, Kenesha went on to serve her country with honor and dedication in the United States Air Force for eight years. Her commitment and service were a testament to her strength and integrity, qualities that she carried with grace throughout her life. Kenesha’s life was enriched by her passion for fitness and culinary exploration. She found joy in working out and discovering new cuisines, which reflected her zest for life and her adventurous spirit. Her friends and family remember her as a gentle and kind soul, whose warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to be in her presence. Though her time with us was far too short, Kenesha's spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. Her gentle nature and kind-heartedness were gifts to all who knew her, and her legacy of love and kindness will endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind. In memory of Kenesha, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, allowing her spirit of generosity to continue to touch the world. May Kenesha’s soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
