Kelsi was born on January 8, 1994, in Fletcher, North Carolina, and left this world far too soon on July 1, 2026. Her life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and a profound commitment to her family. Kelsi was the cherished daughter of Mikey Brown and Jennifer Barton, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience. She was predeceased by her loving parents and her husband, Carlos Rodriguez, who was her partner and the love of her life. Together, they built a family filled with laughter and love, blessed with two beautiful children, Nolan and Cristal, who were the center of Kelsi's universe. Her spirit will forever guide them from above. A devoted mother, Kelsi once expressed, “I work from home just so I can be closer to my family.” Her life was a testament to her dedication to her children and husband, always prioritizing their happiness and well-being above all else. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a sister to six brothers and three sisters, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Kelsi’s life was tragically cut short, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. Her family takes solace in the countless memories they shared and the indelible mark she left on everyone who knew her. Her ability to bring smiles to others and help without expecting anything in return will be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. A service celebrating Kelsi’s life will be held on July 7, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Fletcher First Baptist, located at 5 Cane Creek Rd, Fletcher, NC 28732. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring her memory and sharing stories that highlight the warmth and joy she brought into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to encourage friends and family to continue letting Kelsi’s name live on by remembering her smile and the joy she brought to others.
