In Loving Memory

Kelly Renee Nester Jimenez
August 3, 1979 — March 6, 2026
In loving memory of Kelly Renee Nester Jimenez, who peacefully departed this world on March 6, 2026, at the age of 46, while surrounded by the love of her family at Mercy Anderson Hospital. Born on August 3, 1979, in Georgetown, OH, Kelly's journey through life was characterized by an abundance of love, laughter, and a profound appreciation for the beauty in every moment.
Kelly was the beloved daughter of Sheri Nester, who nurtured her artistic spirit from a young age. Her creativity blossomed at a tender age, eventually leading her to graduate from cosmetology school in 2005, where she honed her skills and shared her gift for beauty with others. Her passion for art was boundless, and she found joy in painting, drawing, coloring, and woodburning—each stroke and carving a testament to her vibrant soul.
Throughout her life, Kelly was known for her infectious sense of humor. She loved being a jokester, bringing smiles and laughter to those around her. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence could light up any room. Yet, it was her heart that left the deepest impression on everyone she met.
Kelly's enduring love story with her partner of 14 years, David Jimenez, was one of deep connection and mutual respect. Together, they built a loving family, raising three remarkable daughters: Destanie (Tyler) Nester, Thalia (Lorenzo) Jimenez, and Tawnee (Landon) Holliday. Kelly's love extended to her seven cherished grandchildren—Jaspyn, Kamari, Maxias, Sawyer, Silas, Lorena, and Brisa—who were the light of her life. She treasured every moment spent with them, whether in person or over video calls, where her laughter and love reached across the miles.
Kelly's family was her cornerstone, and she leaves behind her devoted mother, Sheri Nester, who was her lifelong supporter. Her siblings, Talana Ballard, Brian (Desire) Nester, and Wayne (Katie) Nester, shared a unique bond with her that was forged through shared memories and laughter. Though preceded in death by her cherished niece, Tawnee Ballard, Kelly's spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Kelly's life will be held on March 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Stanton First Church of God, located at 980 E. College Ave., Stanton, KY 40380. Here, family and friends will gather to honor a woman whose life was a masterpiece, painted with the colors of joy, love, and kindness.
As we bid farewell to Kelly Renee Nester Jimenez, let us remember her not with sadness, but with gratitude for the beautiful life she lived. Her legacy of love, laughter, and creativity will continue to inspire us, and her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our hearts.
