Kelly Lynette Rushing

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kelly Lynette Rushing, who left this world on July 16, 2026, to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Kelly graced this earth for 56 years, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth. Kelly dedicated her life to caring for others as a Home Healthcare Worker. Her career was a testament to her compassion and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of those she served. She had a natural gift for lifting spirits, with a quick wit and a warm smile that could brighten even the darkest day. Kelly's love for the outdoors and animals was well-known, and she found joy and peace in fishing, boating, horses, and dogs. She was never happier than when surrounded by the beauty of nature, sharing laughter and creating memories with those she loved. Her family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her parents, Leroy Sr. & Karen Rushing; brother, Leroy Jr., and his wife Nikki; her nephew, Josh, & wife Shaina, along with their children Sydney and Colton; and her nieces, Brandi Rushing with her daughter SueAlice, and Aimee Rushing with her son Waylon. To them, Kelly was not only a beloved sister and aunt but a beacon of kindness and generosity whose impact will be felt for generations. In honor of Kelly's life and her dedication to helping others, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the KRV Family Resource Center, an organization that reflects her spirit of care and support. Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, we celebrate the incredible life Kelly lived. Her family finds solace in knowing that she has left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. As we remember her, we hold onto the words that capture her adventurous spirit: "Life is a Highway." Kelly’s passing reminds us of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
