Kelly Ann Fugate

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kelly Ann Fugate, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. Kelly was born on December 5, 1970, in Covington, Kentucky, and left this world on July 17, 2026, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky, after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Kelly was the beloved daughter of the late Beverly Hatter and Kenny Fugate. She is predeceased by her parents, Larry Hatter, and her oldest daughter Amanda Fugate. Kelly's spirit, love, and laughter will forever be carried in the hearts of her surviving family: her son Anthony Fugate and and son in law Robert Fugate, Brandon, Hunter, Christian, shyler, and her cherished grandchildren, Haley, Trent, and Noah. Kelly's life was enriched by her friendships with Rebecca, Lisa, and Angie, who stood by her through life's joys and challenges. Her aunts, Barb and Debbi, were pillars of support and comfort, nurturing her with love and guidance throughout her life. A woman of kindness and compassion, Kelly was known for her caring nature and unwavering dedication to her family. She found immense joy in taking care of her beloved dogs, Nunu and Haus, and she cherished each moment spent on car rides with her sons, relishing the simple pleasure of being surrounded by the ones she loved. Kelly's generosity extended beyond her immediate family; she was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her devotion knew no bounds, and she touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness. A memorial service to celebrate Kelly's life will be held in Bromley, Kentucky, with details to be announced at a later date. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospice for their exceptional care and support during Kelly's final days.
