Keith was the cherished son of the late Madlen Anne Wilson and Keith Douglas Wilson. He grew up in Shelby, where he developed an early appreciation for community, service, and family values. His commitment to service was evident when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served with distinction as a sergeant. His time in the Marines was marked by dedication, bravery, and an unwavering sense of duty—a testament to the values he carried throughout his life. A man of profound character and kindness, Keith's most prized achievement was his family. He is survived by his devoted children: Antonia Wilson, Preston Jamar Wilson, Keith Marquise Wilson, Sandra Nicole Wilson, and Jasmine Michelle Thomson. They carry forward his legacy with the same love and tenacity he instilled in them. Keith's family tree has grown over the years to include nine cherished grandchildren and five precious great-grandchildren. His eyes would light up with pride whenever he spoke of them, and his heart was full with the joy of having witnessed the blossoming of the generations he helped to nurture. In addition to his children and grandchildren, Keith is also survived by his siblings, Travis Wilson, Kendra Ruff, Angel Wilson, and Mark Wilson. Their bond was a testament to the strength of family ties, rooted deeply in mutual respect and support. Keith was predeceased by his beloved mother, Madlen Anne Wilson, whose memory he held dear throughout his life.
