Born on December 28, 1970, in Miami, Florida, Keith's life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and love.
Keith was the cherished son of the late Russell Franklin James and Karen Elaine James, who undoubtedly welcomed him home with open arms. He leaves behind a devoted and loving family, including his beloved wife, Valerie James, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage since August 21, 2007. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and endless memories.
He is also survived by his siblings, Carolyn James-Jones (Kenneth), Meryl James, Kenneth James (Valerie), Jessica James, and Gabriel James, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Keith's legacy of warmth and generosity will continue to be cherished by his extended family and numerous friends who were privileged to know him.
Keith's educational journey began in the Miami-Dade County School system, where he laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth. He furthered his education at Lindsey Hopkins Educational Center, earning a Certification in AC Repair—a testament to his commitment to personal and professional development.
Keith dedicated his career to serving the community through his work with Miami-Dade County, where he was employed until his passing. His colleagues remember him as a hardworking, reliable, and compassionate individual who always went above and beyond to lend a helping hand.
We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Keith's life at a memorial service on June 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church, located at 21311 NW 34th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL 33056. It will be a time to honor and remember the remarkable man who touched so many lives with his kindness and generosity.
