Keith Purvis

October 22, 1986 — April 28, 2026

It is with profound sadness yet deep gratitude for his life that we announce the passing of Keith Purvis, who left this world on April 28, 2026, at the age of 39. Keith passed away peacefully in his home in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by the love of his children and his devoted fiancé, Christina Lopez. Born on October 22, 1986, in Lafayette, Indiana, Keith was the cherished son of Penny and Keven Purvis. Though he was preceded in death by his father, Keven, his spirit continues to thrive in the hearts of those he leaves behind: his beloved mother, Penny Purvis; his sisters, Lakrisha Dyson and Yolanda Cooper; his two wonderful sons, Keven and Kanon; and his loving fiancé, Christina. Keith grew up in a family where love and laughter were abundant, values he carried throughout his life. He graduated from Castle High School in 2004, where he was known not only for his academic endeavors but also for his kind heart and unwavering compassion—a trait that would become his hallmark. A man of simple pleasures, Keith was happiest surrounded by the great outdoors, where he found solace and joy. His passion for nature was only rivaled by his enthusiasm for grilling, a skill he mastered to the delight of friends and family alike. Keith had a special gift for bringing people together, often hosting gatherings where love, laughter, and the aroma of his favorite dishes filled the air. Keith's "heart of gold" was his defining characteristic, a beacon of warmth and kindness that touched everyone he met. He was a devoted uncle who adored his nephews and nieces, and his role as a father to Keven and Kanon was his greatest joy and most profound accomplishment. He imparted his love for life and his unwavering belief in kindness to his sons, who will carry his legacy forward. A celebration of Keith Purvis’s life will be held on May 16, 2026, at Alamo Ranch Community Church, located at 8765 Texas 151 Access Rd., San Antonio, TX, 78251. The service will commence at 11:30 AM, where we will gather to honor a life lived with love, laughter, and an unyielding spirit of generosity. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice in Keith's memory, to continue his legacy of giving and compassion. Though Keith's time with us was far too short, the impact he made on our lives will endure forever. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the loving memories and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
