Keith Miller, born on March 14, 1952, in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana, peacefully passed away on April 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with heart failure. Surrounded by love, Keith was called home to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and unwavering kindness. Keith was the beloved son of Katherine Miller and was predeceased by his cherished mother and brother. He is survived by his devoted wife, Molly Benson, whom he married on March 15, 2021, in a celebration of love that brought joy to all who witnessed it. Together, they built a life filled with laughter and shared dreams. Keith was a proud and loving father to his children, Kennith Battle, Mark Battle, Rayven Benson, Frank Benson, and Myeasha Favors. His sister, Lisa Watson, also survives him, along with his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life and the legacy he cherished most dearly. A graduate of Crispus Attucks Medical High School in 1970, Keith's journey of service began as he enlisted in the military, serving his country with honor from 1971 to 1986. His dedication to protecting others continued throughout his career in security, a testament to his steadfast commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of those around him. Keith was not only a protector but also a man of community and faith. As a member of Hopewell Church from 2021 until his passing, he found solace and fellowship, embracing his spirituality with the same warmth he extended to everyone he met. An avid fisherman, Keith found peace in the gentle lapping of the water against the shore, where he would often be found casting a line with his infectious smile. He was also a card player of great skill, delighting in the camaraderie and friendly competition that such gatherings brought. Known for his warm smile and happy demeanor, Keith had an extraordinary ability to uplift the spirits of those around him. His laughter was contagious, and his kindness boundless. He possessed a generosity of spirit that left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. As we mourn the loss of a remarkable man, we also celebrate the life of Keith Miller—a life well-lived, filled with love, service, and joy. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing his legacy of love endures. Funeral services will be held at a date to be determined, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the beautiful life of Keith Miller. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hopewell Church, in memory of Keith's steadfast faith and community contributions.
