Keith D. Hamilton, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on September 20, 1957, in Los Angeles, California, Keith's journey through life was marked by dedication, service, and an unwavering love for his family.
Keith was the cherished son of Robert A. Hamilton and Josephine Pope. He is predeceased by his father, Robert. His legacy continues through his loving wife of 43 years, Dolores A. Hamilton, who stood by his side with unwavering support and devotion. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Keith's life was enriched by his stepson, Antonio T. Meeks Sr., and his grandchildren—Antwan T. Briggs, Jovan Meeks, Arya T. Meeks, and Antonio T. Meeks Jr. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Antwan Briggs Jr., London, Breanna, Janila Meeks, and Jay'eli Meeks. Each of them brought immense joy and pride to his life.
He shared a special bond with his siblings, William Hamilton and his wife Ann, and Robert Hamilton, who were constants in his life, offering support and companionship through all of life's seasons.
Keith proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1974 to 1976, a testament to his commitment and dedication. His professional journey saw him working as a machine operator for the William Furance Company for 16 years. Later, he found fulfillment serving as a counselor within the Veterans Administration, a role where his empathy and understanding made a significant impact on those he served.
The Hamilton family extends their deepest gratitude to the Veteran Administration and the compassionate team of doctors and caregivers at Heritage Gardens, Rose Garden Residencial, Madison Grove Post Acute, Redlands Community Hospital, and Arrowhead Springs Healthcare. A special thank you to Bristol Hospice, whose outstanding care and support were a comfort to Keith and his family during his final days.
A memorial service to celebrate Keith's life will be held on October 7, 2026, at 10:00 PM at Aaron Cremation & Burial Services, 1525 N. Waterman Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92404. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and to share stories and memories that honor Keith's legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Keith's memory to a veterans' organization of your choice, reflecting his lifelong dedication to those who served.
