Keith Corbit

February 3, 1971 — February 20, 2001

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Corbit, a beloved father, son, and friend, who left this world far too soon on February 20, 2001, at the age of 30. Born on February 3, 1971, in Guelph, Ontario, Keith lived a life that was a testament to love, laughter, and kindness, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Keith was the cherished son of Maureen and Jim, who provided him with a loving home filled with warmth and encouragement. From a young age, Keith exhibited an infectious sense of humor and a natural inclination to bring joy to those around him. His ability to make others laugh, even in the most challenging of times, was a gift that he shared generously, leaving behind countless memories that will continue to bring smiles to those who knew him. A devoted father, Keith is survived by his precious children, Hope and Kyle, who were the pride and joy of his life. Keith's love for Hope and Kyle was boundless and unwavering. He was a playful and attentive father, always eager to help with their homework, cheer them on at their games, and share in their dreams and aspirations. Keith's dedication to his children was evident in every moment he spent with them, and his legacy will live on in their hearts. Known for his caring nature, Keith was always the first to offer a helping hand to those in need, whether it was a friend, neighbor, or stranger. He believed in the power of kindness and the importance of compassion, values that he instilled in his children. Keith's generosity extended beyond his immediate circle, as he often volunteered his time to various community initiatives, leaving a lasting impact on those he served. Keith's life, though brief, was filled with purpose and meaning. He taught us the importance of laughter, the strength of love, and the power of a helping hand. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the wonderful person he was and the indelible mark he left on our lives. A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends to honor Keith's memory and to celebrate the life of a man who brought so much light into this world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Keith's name to a charity of your choice that embodies his spirit of generosity and kindness. Keith Corbit will forever be remembered for his humor, his helpful nature, and his caring heart. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the laughter of his children and the stories we share. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
