In Loving Memory of Kehlani Nyelle Baldwin It is with profound sorrow and tender hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Kehlani Nyelle Baldwin, who was born on January 7, 2025, in Elgin, Illinois, and departed this world far too soon on June 3, 2026. Though her presence was brief, Kehlani's radiant smile and sweet spirit left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. Kehlani was a beacon of joy and love, a precious gift to her devoted parents, Unique Lovely and Keshawn Baldwin. Her life, though short, was filled with warmth and tenderness, bringing immeasurable happiness to her family. Kehlani's laughter and innocent wonder were like rays of sunshine, illuminating the lives of those around her. In addition to her parents, Kehlani's memory is cherished by her stepmother, Aliyah Weathers, who admirably serves in the United States Military and, though unable to be present, holds Kehlani close in her heart. Kehlani's Godmother, Gloria Smith, and her caring aunts, Rahnika Johnson and Tia Payton, along with her cousins, Susie Carmichael, Lena Bluitt, and Cameron Gary, will forever remember her with love. She leaves behind an extended family and a community of friends who will continue to carry her spirit with them. A funeral service to honor Kehlani’s life will be held on June 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Wait Ross-Allanson Funeral Service, located at 51 Center St, Elgin, Illinois. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of the joy she brought to this world. As we reflect on Kehlani’s time with us, we find comfort in the words of Matthew 19:14, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Her innocence and pure spirit now reside in a place of eternal peace and love. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Kehlani's memory. With heavy hearts, we celebrate Kehlani Nyelle Baldwin, a precious angel who touched our lives and whose memory will forever be cherished.
