In Loving Memory

KEELON AUBREY
April 18, 1980 — March 27, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keelon Aubrey, who departed this world peacefully in his sleep on March 27, 2026. Born on April 18, 1980, in the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas, Keelon was a beacon of love, strength, and compassion throughout his life.
Keelon was the cherished son of Bruce Aubrey and Carlin Gooch. He was preceded in death by his dear grandmother, Betty Aubrey, his grandfather, Tommy Foster, his sister Natily Gooch, and his brother Tyrone Gooch, whose memories he held close to his heart.
Keelon leaves behind a legacy of love through his surviving family members. He was the devoted husband of Christine Aubrey, with whom he shared a beautiful life and love story that began on June 15, 2000. Together, they built a family filled with warmth and laughter, raising four wonderful children: Brandon, Kayla, Byron, and their youngest joy, 2-year-old Keelon Aubrey Jr. His love extended to his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and pride.
Keelon's life was a testament to his dedication to his family, his work, and his community. He was a proud alumnus of Oakcliff High School, graduating in May 1997, and later honed his skills at Job Corp Trade School, graduating in 2000 with expertise in welding trades. Despite his early career in welding, Keelon's passion for helping others led him and Christine to serve as Registered Nurses at Parkland Hospital, where he was a beloved member of the hospital family for over fifteen years.
A steadfast pillar in his community, Keelon was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Highland Hills, Texas, where he shared his love for music by playing the drums during his youth. His commitment to nurturing the future was evident through his involvement with the BGF Youth Program, reflecting his dedication to uplifting and empowering young lives.
Keelon is also survived by his loving siblings: brothers Bruce Aubrey Jr., Brian Williamson, William Williams, Ray Gooch, and his sister, Nikki Williams. His extended family, including the Gooch, Aubrey, and Williamson families, alongside the multitude of friends and colleagues, will forever cherish his memory.
To honor Keelon's remarkable life, a celebration of his legacy will be held on April 3, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of OakCliff, located at 1458 Camp Wisdom. In keeping with the family's wishes and for the safety of all attendees, we kindly ask everyone to wear a mask during the service.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shown support and love during this difficult time. Your condolences and participation in Brother Keelon's service are deeply appreciated. We carry forward his spirit in our hearts, celebrating a life well-lived and a love that transcends beyond this world.
Rest in peace, dear Keelon. Your legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all.
