With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Kayla Marie Brooklynn, who left this world far too soon on January 17, 2025. Born on July 4, 2011, in the serene landscapes of Utah, Kayla's life was a beautiful, albeit brief, tapestry of love, laughter, and adventure. Kayla blessed us with 13 precious years filled with her bright smile that could light up any room, her flowing red hair that seemed to dance in the wind, and her delightful spirit that was both goofy and polite. She was a cherished daughter to her loving parents, Josh and Lauren, who supported and nurtured her with unwavering love and devotion. From an early age, Kayla was drawn to the natural world around her, finding joy and solace in the great outdoors. She was an avid hiker, always eager to explore new trails and marvel at the beauty of nature. Her love for swimming was equally profound, and she could often be found happily splashing in pools, lakes, and rivers, embracing the freedom and exhilaration the water provided. Tragically, Kayla's life was cut short as she lost her battle with depression, a silent struggle she faced with courage and grace. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, and her absence is deeply felt by her family, friends, and community. Kayla joins her cousin Aubrey and her Uncle Seth in eternal rest, where we hope she has found peace and comfort. Her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts, a constant reminder of the joy and laughter she brought into our lives. A service to celebrate Kayla's life will be held on February 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor her memory, reflecting on the light she shared with the world and the indelible mark she left on our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kayla's name to organizations dedicated to mental health awareness and support. May her legacy inspire us to reach out, listen, and offer our love to those who might be silently battling their own challenges. Kayla Marie Brooklynn, though your time with us was brief, your impact was immeasurable. You will forever be loved, cherished, and remembered, sweet girl. Rest in peace.
