Kayla spent her formative years in South Bend where she graduated from Washington High School. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a degree in phlebotomy from Ivy Tech, a field in which she excelled and found great fulfillment. She dedicated her career to serving patients at Northwest Laporte Hospital and Saint Franciscan Health Hospital, where her colleagues and patients alike cherished her thoughtful nature and unwavering dedication.
Kayla's life was tragically cut short due to a traffic accident. Kayla’s was known for her sweet and caring demeanor, her love for the simple joys of life, and her tireless work ethic. Kayla's warm smile and generous spirit were a comfort to all, and her memory will forever be held close in the hearts of her loved ones.
She leaves behind her devoted parents, Kristina and Thomas Roche, and her beloved brother, Albert Joseph Roche (AJ). Her partner, Jim McElroy, and her loyal dog, Kya, also mourn her passing. Grandparents Harry and Peggy Mathes, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members, feel the deep void left by her absence.
