Her life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and unwavering strength that touched everyone she encountered. Kay was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lee Moore, her cherished son, Kevin Moore, and her dear brother, Don Baker. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving children: Adela Medford, Derrell Moore, and Rodney Moore, as well as her sister, Glenda Smith. Her nurturing spirit continues to live on in her four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Throughout her life, Kay exemplified the virtues of hard work and compassion. She dedicated herself to her career and spent an admirable 30 years as a foster parent, providing a loving home and guidance to countless children. Her kindness and generosity were boundless, as she was known to be a Christian woman who gave selflessly to all. Kay's passions included gardening, sewing, and art. She found joy in the beauty of a blooming garden, the creativity of crafting with her hands, and the expression of art. Her hobbies were a testament to her vibrant spirit and her ability to see beauty in the world around her. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Kay's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to her giving nature. Kay's life was a shining example of love, dedication, and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, her legacy living on in the love she so freely gave.
