With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Mom Kay Pritchard, who departed this world on May 28, 2026, at the age of 87, after a short illness. Kay was born on August 16, 1938, in Ludlow, Vermont, to her loving parents Kenneth and Elaine Keezer. Kay's journey through life was one marked by unwavering kindness, creativity, and an innate ability to uplift those around her. She was predeceased by her husband, George Pritchard. Kay leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Jim (Terri), Carol Jean, George (Kimberly), and Ann Marie (Bob). Her presence will also be deeply missed by her brothers, Kenny and Jerel (Nancy), her sister Shelley (Don), and her treasured grandchildren Amy, Jimmy, Mathew, Amanda Kate, Thomas, Nolan, and Gregory. Her joy and warmth extended to her great-grandchildren, for those who were blessed to know and love her. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Kay's life will be held on July 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, located at 10 Washington St., Fair Haven, VT 05743. Following the service, Kay will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Castleton. In keeping with Kay's spirit of celebration and community, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Fair Haven American Legion following the burial. The family invites all who knew and loved Kay to join in sharing stories, laughter, and love, just as she would have wished. As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman who touched so many lives, we hold onto the love and lessons she imparted. Kay's legacy will continue in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will forever be with us.
