September 14, 1964 — September 28, 2026

Kay, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at Broad Mountain Nursing Home. Born on September 14, 1964, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Kay was blessed with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of love that touched all who knew her. Kay was the beloved daughter of Gilbert E. and Marie D. Beury, who have since passed on. She was predeceased by her sister Joanne Horning, brother Gilbert Beury, nephew David C. Rickard, and niece Cassandra L. Palsgrove. Despite these profound losses, Kay's enduring spirit and love for her family shone through. Kay was a devoted mother to her daughter Mariah Dixon, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is survived by her siblings Linda Montone and her husband Jerry, Susanne Vidal, Jodie Palsgrove, and Richard Beury, all of whom shared in the laughter and love that Kay so generously bestowed. As a grandmother to Lory Langston, Andre Langston, Brianna Knoll, Jordyn Knoll, and Kendall Brennan and a great-grandmother to Luxxus Langston and Aurora Julian, Kay's heart was full of warmth and affection. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her favorite memories often involved attending Reading Phillies games with her grandson, where her cheers and laughter could be heard echoing through the stadium. An avid fisher, Kay found serenity and joy by the water. If ever she was unaccounted for, one only needed to look at a local fishing spot to find her, casting her line and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Kay had an extraordinary ability to light up a room with her radiant smile and infectious laughter. She was the highlight of every event she attended, bringing joy and unity to her loved ones. Her kindness, warmth, and humor left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Broad Mountain Nursing Home in Frackville for their unwavering support and care for Kay during her time there. Their kindness and dedication made a lasting impression, and the family is deeply appreciative of their efforts. They also wish to thank all family and friends for their outpouring of support and love during this difficult time. In honor of Kay's memory, the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice, in keeping with her generous and loving spirit.
