Kay Ann Yoho Summers

In loving memory, we honor the life of Kay Ann Yoho Summers, who departed this world on June 27, 2026, at the age of 64. Kay passed away peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.   Born on August 2, 1961, in Alliance, Ohio, to ‘Dutch’ and June Greeneisen, Kay was a beacon of warmth and kindness from the very beginning. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Dino, and first husband, Bernard 'Buck' Yoho, whose memories she cherished throughout her life. She is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Raymond Summers, with whom she shared a life of love and partnership.   Kay was the beloved mother of Bud (Megan) Greeneisen and Harley Sellers, Jr., and the proud grandmother of Madison Greeneisen, who brought immense joy to her life. Her family was her world, and she was theirs - a constant source of support, wisdom, and unconditional love. Kay's life was enriched by her relationships with her siblings: sisters Eva Light, Emma Simmons, and Tina Totten, and her brother Robert Greeneisen. She was the cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and her extended family included several in-laws and others who were dear to her heart. A woman of simple pleasures, Kay had a profound love for animals, finding tranquility and joy in their companionship. Her home was always open to four-legged friends, and her nurturing spirit extended to all creatures great and small. Additionally, Kay was an avid fan of the long-standing television series, General Hospital, finding comfort and entertainment in its stories for many years. Kay will be remembered for her kindness, her down-to-earth nature, and her unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. Her heart was as generous as it was gentle, and she touched the lives of countless individuals with her compassion and empathy. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Ohio Living Hospice for the care and support provided to Kay during her final months.   Per Kay’s wishes, there will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kay's memory to a local animal shelter or charity of choice, continuing her legacy of giving and love. As we say goodbye to Kay, we carry forward her spirit, knowing that she lives on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know and love her. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, the strength of family, and the beauty of a loving heart.
