She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and creativity that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.
Katrina was the cherished daughter of Donna Gene Miller and Dery Cathey, and she was their pride and joy. Though she was the only child of her mother, Katrina embraced her role as the eldest child of her father with grace and leadership. Their spirits undoubtedly welcome her with open arms in the heavens above.
Surviving her is her devoted husband of 40 years, Joseph Robinson, whose unwavering love and support were the cornerstones of her life. Together, they raised a beautiful family, and Katrina's spirit will continue to live on through her beloved children: Joshua, Jarvis, Jaheim, Jameelah, and her cherished son Anthony Pierre. She was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to one, each of whom brought immense joy to her life and whom she adored with all her heart.
Katrina was a proud graduate of the Westinghouse Career Academy, where she began her journey of lifelong learning and growth. Her passion for education led her to further her studies at the City College of Chicago at Wilbur Wright College, where she earned certifications in blueprint writing and quality control. Her dedication to her work was a testament to her determination to build a brighter future for her family and herself.
Beyond her professional achievements, Katrina was a woman of many passions. She had a profound love for fashion and self-expression, finding joy in the creative arts and music. Her sense of rhythm and movement was an embodiment of her vibrant spirit, and she embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Those closest to her will forever cherish the memory of her laughter, her resilience, her bold sense of style, and the way she made everyone feel seen and loved.
