Born on July 2, 1963, in Indianapolis, IN, Kathy's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering spirit as she bravely fought a long battle with breast cancer. Kathy was a woman of great warmth and generosity, whose presence lit up every room she entered. Her love for life was evident in her many passions, which included camping in the summers, celebrating the excitement of football season, and immersing herself in the joy of everything Christmas. Known for her festive gatherings, Kathy treasured the moments she spent with her family, especially during summer pool days when her home was filled with the laughter and joy of her children and grandchildren. On September 30, 2000, Kathy married the love of her life, Mark Mason. Their partnership was a beautiful testament to love and commitment, filled with shared dreams and mutual support. Together, they built a family that was the center of Kathy's world. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Mark, her loving children, Brittni and Tony, and her five adoring grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Kathy's legacy also lives on through several nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Kathy's kindness, warmth, and generous spirit touched all who knew her. Her legacy of love, family, and resilience will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Smock Golf Course, located at 3910 E County Line Road. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring the remarkable life of a woman who gave so much of herself to those she loved. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kathy's memory to a breast cancer research organization of your choice, as a tribute to her courageous fight and enduring hope for a cure.
