In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Kathy A. Brintnell, who passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the age of 75, in the warmth of her beloved Holly, Michigan. Born on October 6, 1950, Kathy graced the world with her compassionate spirit and unwavering love, which she generously shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Kathy was a dedicated and caring soul, always prioritizing the needs of her family and friends. Her life was a testament to the power of love and kindness, qualities that she embodied every day. Her heart, which nourished so many, was also where her journey ended, as she passed from a heart attack. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and comfort those she cherished.
Graduating from Holly High School in 1969, Kathy carried the values of her education into her life, becoming a beacon of wisdom and support for her loved ones. In 1998, she married her soulmate, Kenneth A. Brintnell, on a beautiful spring day, April 9th, marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with joy and companionship. Though Kenneth preceded her in death, their love story remains a cherished memory for their family.
Kathy's life was enriched by her children, each of whom carries forward her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to family. She is survived by her beloved children, Roxanne Greene, Crystal Greene, John Brintnell, Barbara Long, Philip Greene, and Angela Cogburn. Her sister, Connie Basore, remains a treasured connection to Kathy’s roots and shared memories. Kathy's legacy is further carried by her 11 grandchildren, each one a testament to her enduring impact and love.
Known for her creativity, Kathy delighted in crafting keepsakes, pouring her heart into each piece as a tangible expression of her affection. Her grandchildren, in particular, were the frequent beneficiaries of her handiwork, which served as constant reminders of her warmth and devotion.
