Kathryn Eubank Galvan, a remarkable woman whose vibrant spirit and endearing warmth touched all who knew her, passed away at home on July 10, 2026. Born on August 4, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee, Kathryn was the beloved daughter of Carl and Helen Eubank. She embodied a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by her family and friends. Kathryn's life was a testament to joy and creativity. She was an avid crafter, whose beautiful creations were shared generously with those she loved. Her passion for crafting was rivaled only by her devotion to her faith; Kathryn loved Jesus more than life itself. As a cherished member of the San Jacinto County Cowboy Church, she found a community that appreciated her boundless energy and unwavering belief. To know Kathryn was to experience her larger-than-life personality. She didn’t simply enter a room; she illuminated it. Her smile was a beacon of warmth, and her sharp wit and rebellious streak made her a force to be reckoned with. Kathryn was unapologetically herself, fearlessly embracing life’s challenges with a resilience that inspired those around her. She stood firm in her convictions, embodying a spirit of bravery and authenticity that will be dearly missed. Kathryn was predeceased by her loving parents, Carl Eubank and Helen McConnico; her devoted husband, Epifanio Galvan; her sisters, Carol Saltsman and Helen Tenorio; and her grandson, Aaron J. Webber. She leaves behind a family who adored her deeply: her children, Jennifer Smith (Chris), Cheyenna Petterson, Epifanio L. Galvan Jr. (Nikki), and Aric Parsons; her grandchildren, Jose Cruz Jr., Luis Cruz, Zephaniaha Whittenberger, Anthony Weber, Andrea Weber, Carl Galvan, Warren Waugamen, and Sarenna Galvan; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Lillian Cruz, Lena Cruz, Lylah Cruz, Levi Whittenberger, Natalie Smith, and Addilynn Cruz. A celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the San Jacinto County Cowboy Church in Coldspring, Texas, where family and friends will gather to honor her extraordinary life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Kathryn's generous spirit and commitment to uplifting others.
