Kathleen was born on January 4, 1967, in Wichita, Kansas, to David and Charlene Gilbert. From her earliest days, Kathleen exuded a light and kindness that would shine brightly throughout her life. Her upbringing in Wichita was filled with joy and the nurturing love of her parents, who instilled in her values of compassion, resilience, and unwavering devotion to family. Kathleen's mother, Charlene Gilbert (née Kirshgassner), predeceased her, leaving behind a legacy of grace and strength that Kathleen carried forward. Her father, David Gilbert, remains with us, holding dear the memories of his precious daughter. Kathleen's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family and her community. Her warm smile and gentle demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Whether volunteering at local charities, participating in school events, or simply being a friend to those in need, Kathleen touched countless lives with her generosity and kindness.
